But I was also inspired by McBain: Let's Get Silly from The Simpsons. "a mix of achtion unt komedi"
I did this months ago when the movie was released, but I decided to post this when I would have seen the film.
And guess what, I've seen it today with my dad. It was pretty darn good. This is the third recent film in a row after La La Land and Logan that lived up to the hype.
The only problems we had were the film being a slow burn (it's not a bad thing, we just weren't prepared for it), having one big convenience in an otherwise nearly flawless script, and me personally I didn't like the use of the loud jumpscares and some things seen in the trailer weren't in the film.
But other than that, I greatly enjoyed Get Out, it was very well put together and written and I'll certainly like it even more when I'll rewatch it. I'm glad it was a hit because it's an ORIGINAL movie, not a reboot or sequel or adaptation, and I want more horror films to be like this and less jumpscary ghost/haunted house horseshit.

Well, Arnie would make a better film critic than Ebert.
